WINTER ACTIVITIES IN MONTENEGRO FROM DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY

ITINERARY:


1.    Day

Meeting with a guide at airport. Transfer to Kolasin. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

 

2.    Day

After breakfast short transfer to the ski center  (ca 1440). Snowshoe walking ca 3-3.30h and arrival to the mountain hut Bjelasica (1760). The route is going through forest.  After accommodation in hut and lunch we can continue snowshoe walking to the peak and sightseeing massif of Bjelasica and surrounding mountains (Komovi , Sinjajevina…). Return to the hut.  Dinner, overnight.

 

3.    Day

After breakfast departure from mountain hut and walking to the peak ,,Raskrsnica’’ ( 1730) and continue walk to the point (1777) and along to the point (1550). Participants of tour can chose to get down by ski lift or continue walking through forest. The tour duration 3-4 h with stops. Lunch will be sandwiches or lunch in the restaurant on ski center.  Return to hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight.

4.    Day


After breakfast transfer to ski center, and start with skiing lessons. Half day lessons with an english speaking guide. Equipment can be rented at the spot or brought by the clients. After lessons transfer to restaurant Savardak - national dish kacamak with special layered cheese from Kolasin. Transfer to hotel. Free time. Overnight.

5.    Day

Breakfast. Transfer to Bijelo Polje. 1 h of drive. For this day there are 2 options:

- Caving tour - Novakovica cave near Tomasevo village. Cave is app 650m long and the tour includes english speaking guide, all neccessary equipment and transfer to/back the starting point. After the tour it is possible to organize lunch in private household or to go to center of city and also visit Museum of Bijelo Polje...Transfer back to hotel. Free time.

-Second option is to go to village Bistrica and have a snow shoing tour from the village to a secluded monastery at the top of the hill - Monastery of Saint Nikolas in Podvrh. Monastery is from the 17th century, and only one monk is living there. Walk back down to village, lunch in a private household where you can assist in preparation of some of the national dishes. Lunch there. If time allows, visit to Museum of Bijelo Polje. Transfer back to hotel. Free time. Overnight.

 

6.    Day

After breakfast transfer to ski lift. Second day of skiing lesson. Half day instructions. Transfer back to hotel. Free time. Overnight.

 

7.    Day– after breakfast departure to airport.

The price depending of season, category of hotels, number of pax in the group.

The program includes:
Transfer people and luggage as mentioned in program, Accommodation in hotels, with service BB, lunches where mentioned, guide services, equipment rental for official program (Snowshoe walking and skiing), organization of program.

The program doesn’t include:
Individual cost, all services which don’t mentioned in program, drinks in restaurants.

Important notes:
The agency can change shedule of days, if the weather influences on it.
This program is available for people with similar physical condition and experience.
In case of severe weather conditions the agency has to include some simiral program instead.
